Plot[]
Dodge in Bode Locke's body tries to blend in with the Lockes, and threatens to kill them when she notices Bode's attempts to communicate with his family from beyond the Ghost Door. He also finds that he can now freely take keys from the Lockes. At Bode's school, Josh Bennett confronts Nina over her not telling him about the break-in on the night of Duncan's wedding, and asks for her trust. Jamie begins to notice Bode's new hostility and aloofness. He is eventually drawn to Captain Frederick Gideon's presence. Meeting up with him, Gideon reveals that he is able to use the keys to weaken the barrier between the human and demon worlds, and enlists Dodge to steal every key so he can merge the two worlds. He gives Dodge Bode's key catalog before parting ways.
Dodge learns about the Alpha Key from the catalog, and tries and fails repeatedly to locate the keys. He draws suspicion from Kinsey when she sees him with the catalog, which was believed to have been stolen. En route to Keyhouse for a playdate, Rufus Whedon reacts angrily when Ellie announces her intention to move away from Matheson. At the manor, Rufus quickly deduces that Bode is Dodge, and they exchange blows. Nina and Ellie stop the fight, but Dodge threatens to kill them both if Rufus raises the alarm.
Tyler's colleague from Montana, Carly, shows up at Keyhouse when he fails to come to work, and accepts his offer to stay with them for a day. Kinsey is happy her brother has made a friend, but relates to Scot Cavendish over a video call her feeling that she and her brother are drifting apart. Tyler rejects Carly's offer of intimacy, explaining that he has not gotten over the tragic death of his former girlfriend. He later relates his anxiety over Kinsey seemingly pushing him away emotionally, and Carly advises him to reach out to her. When she leaves for Montana again, Tyler and Carly share a kiss.
Tyler asks Kinsey to let him back into her life, and when she tells him it was his choice to forget certain memories, Tyler reverses his decision. Kinsey uses the Memory Key to restore her brother's memories, but unknowingly reveals to Dodge the fact that the Lockes store their magic items in the Harlequin chest. Suspicious of Bode's behavioral changes, Nina looks through his room and stumbles upon Dodge's lifeless body under his bed.

Trivia[]
- After changing his mind, Tyler has Kinsey use the Memory Key to restore his memories of the magic.
- Carly asks the Savini Squad how they came up with the plot point of demonic invaders overrunning the town for their movie, to which Doug Brazelle brings up the turn of phrase "life imitates art". This is a reference to Gabe amassing an army of demons in the latter part of the second season.
