The Keepers of the Keys is a nickname given to a group of people who swear to protect the magical keys from falling into the wrong hands; primarily, they attempt to keep the keys from Dodge.

Following the death of Lucas, Kim and Jeff, the remaining members of the Keepers of the Keys decided to split up the keys in order to keep them safe, promising never to use them again.^[1]

Twenty-five years later, the keys would again be discovered by the Locke Children. Dodge again would come for the keys and Bode dubs them — and members of the Savini Squad — the new Keepers of the Keys.^[2]
